Teaparty Time
Well today is the day for the tea party protests across the country in what is probably one of the biggest nationwide protests in this country's history. I am curious how the Obama propaganda department A.K.A main stream media is going to cover this?
Are they going to try and ignore a huge nationwide protest? Are they going to act condescending to the protesters? Is Acorn and other radical left wing agitators going to try and steal the show? My feeling is that the media will try to discredit the tea parties and try to paint the people there as nut jobs. Last night on one of my local radio stations, the evening news crew where interviewing the local tea party organizer. It seemed to me that were not really interested
in why this has become such a large phenomenon. Instead, the only thing they wanted to know was what well known celebrities were going to attend. I guess in the world of liberalism, the most important political story is how many celebrities support you.
I think that this day is very important because unlike the extreme liberal protesters that are paid to yell and act out in front of the news cameras; this is a true grassroots event, organized and spread by common working people. Could this be a model for middle America to finally find a voice? For too long has the government ignored the majority of Americans in preference to the loud narrow interest groups that the media and politicians adore.
